Filling Machines
Our filling machines are designed to fill fluids, such as liquids, pastes, and creams, into bottles, jars, pails, cans, most rigid containers or those that can be held by the neck opening. In addition to being faster and more uniform than manual filling, filling machines also require fewer people to operate. As an additional benefit, it makes product contamination far less likely.
Here at ZimaPack, we pride ourselves in having bottle filling machines with the concept of filling by net weight. While volume changes with variables like temperature and barometric pressure, net weight remains constant.
Our machines create a perfect solution for controlling your product giveaway and costs. Here is how you can take advantage of our Filling Machines:
Custom Designed Nozzles
Our nozzles are created with ease of use, cleanliness, and longevity, perfect for filling rigid containers like bottles, spray bottles, detergent bottles (with or without handles), cans, pails, tubs, buckets, and so on. They are built in Stainless Steel 316L. The nozzle tips/plungers can be interchanged to accommodate a larger range of products and bottle openings. The nozzles do not penetrate the bottle during the filling process, preventing cross-contamination and ensuring overall cleanliness.
Versatility
The ZimaPack machine can accommodate a wide range of products designed with nozzles and nozzle tips, capping heads, tanks, special features, and quick tool-less bottle and cap change parts. We can make the machinery as adaptable as possible to meet a wide range of filling applications.
Clean In Place System
ZimaPack filling machines are equipped with a Clean In Place (CIP) system internally and externally. There is also an option to integrate foam cleaning systems. CIP recipes can be linked and saved with each product recipe. This way, you wouldn’t need to program this sequence each time, as some products may take longer to clean than others, maximizing efficiency and speed. There is an automatic trough that can collect the CIP solution/waste. Everything is piped for the internal CIP and external CIP so that you will have one collection point on the machine making it easy for changeovers.
Capping Machines
ZimaPack’s capping machines offer Semi-Automatic and Automatic Cappers. We can work with a wide range of containers and cap sizes, shapes, closures, various capping heads, specific chutes, sorters, and elevators. We only use Clutch-Style Capping Heads for our capping machines. Here is why:
Accommodates different types of caps
Clutch-style capping heads are designed for various types of caps. They have a series of teeth that grip the cap and can be tightened or loosened to adjust the grip, making them ideal for use with both standard and non-standard caps.
Allow for a very tight seal
The Clutch-Style Capping heads allow for the torque to be adjusted for a perfect tight seal. It is essential because it means your product will be well-protected from the elements.
Monoblock Combinations
A Monoblock is a machine that combines two or more functions into one unit, such as a bottle filling and capping machine. The term “monoblock filling system” refers to a packing system that houses many packaging machinery components on a single base and frame. It facilitates a more streamlined process and has the potential to reduce overall costs.
Monoblocks are safer, cleaner ways to fill and cap. The bottle is not traveling uncapped and is less likely to spill. It also saves space on your plant floor, is cost-effective because of one base, and has fewer electronics and spare parts. It generally requires less maintenance and is easier to clean.
Industries such as food and beverage sectors utilize monoblock filling and capping machines because they like it for cleanliness since they’re filled and capped in one machine, so the bottle isn’t traveling uncapped outside the machine.
Our team can create Monoblocks specific to your needs. Here’s what we can provide you:
- Rotary Monoblocks with Rinser (Air and/or Water/Solution), Net Weight Filler, and Capper
- Rotary Monoblocks with Rinsers & Net Weight Fillers
- Rotary Monoblocks with Net Weight Filler & Capper
- Rotary Monoblocks with Pump Placer & Screw Capper
What to expect from our efficient machines
Easy, Quick, Tool-less Change Parts
Changing components on our machines has never been this quick and straightforward, even without the need for tools. It is excellent for our customers that require more than one bottle or cap size. A snap-in change component allows for rapid, tool-free part insertion and removal. To make things quicker and more convenient for you, we offer options for dedicated cap chutes eliminating some change parts and allowing for faster changeovers.
Jam Detection System
In the event of a jam, we ensure that our jam-detecting system prevents the machine from continuing to rotate and causing any further damage. An alarm alerts the user to a jam via the machine’s screen with an illustration showing its origin or location.
Reject System
We can reject for incorrect weights, missing or crooked caps, missing foils, and quality control. The HMI screen (Human Machine Interface) can alarm and display the reject (these can also be shown in reports). A reject conveyor can be added so that the bottle can be safely guided onto a separate conveyor where an operator can collect and verify why it was rejected. The HMI will show why and a solution will be suggested to prevent further rejects.
Door Safety
When a machine door opens, the function immediately stops the machine from rotating. As soon as the machine comes to a halt, the screen will update to show which door is open. If the Filler is in the middle of filling a bottle it will continue to fill to the correct weight. Once the door is closed and the reset button is pushed the machine will continue to rotate.
User Access Levels
As a company, we place a high level of importance on the safety and security of our clients when they use our machines. Using your machine’s user access level feature, you can assign an Administrator, Operator, Manager, Technician, etc. Each assigned user will receive a user ID and password. Certain users can have access to all pages vs others can choose recipes/go into production but can’t make changes. This prevents operator errors, gives clear reports and helps with training!
The HMI screen and sync with a smartphone/tablet. Operators with access can use this feature to do anything the HMI screen does. Customizable reports are available on the HMI screen and can be downloaded or shared through an SD card and FTP server.
Custom Manual & How-to Videos
To ensure that our clients receive the best service and assistance, we create manuals and how to videos for each project or machine as a guide when operating.
Backed with Great Customer Service
We always listen to our clients and guarantee a same-day response. Rest assured that our team will resolve any issue as soon as possible. Remote troubleshooting is built into our software and allows us to access the machines quickly through a virtual private network (VPN) and sync with a smartphone /tablet for easy training/troubleshooting.
